· Collate information into new knowledge products in support of strategic priorities & support in the generation, sharing & using knowledge to support improved programming & to provide objective & evidence based interpretations of data with pragmatic recommendations
· Contribute to the design & production of topic guides, training modules, working papers, research reports & data visualization media.
· Assist in planning, coordinating, and implementing sub-project activities at the target region
· Manage and facilitate the flow of essential information among the targeted/local region and the PIU team
· Monitor the progress of the implementation of the sub-project in partnership with the PIU team, contractor and Project Oversight Committee and the target/local administration
· Assist in reviewing and analyzing of issues and trends at the local level and simplify the community consultations/engagement and evaluation process and other research activities requested by the PIU team
· Identify, manage and monitor risks of the sub-project at the targeted region and keep track of the risks (risk register) and communicate closely with the PIU Coordinator
· Research, analyze and present information from the local administration, including capacity need, complaint, and grievances
· Draft weekly highlight updates and monthly progress reports on the sub-project to be submitted to the PIU team.
· Track, document & prepare reports of project outputs & outcomes as articulated in the results framework for all recovery & durable solutions projects to ensure that all activities are on track by regularly updating indicator matrix & coordination with field teams.
· In coordination with the M&E coordinator & Heads of transition Initiative for Stabilization (TIS) Programs, measure progress towards objectives, quality & immediate impact of activities to inform programming by developing monitoring tools, leading implementation of & writing reports on baselines, end lines & other M&E activities.
· In coordination with Project officer (Information Management) prepare information retrieval of field activities to inform reports & communication materials by developing communication protocols & information sharing tools.
· Prepare regular monitoring reports on TIS projects to provide timely input for donor reports & for IOM Somalia internal / external reports by ensuring timely collection of data & analysis (qualitative & quantitative) for drafting of reports & feedback.
· Provide support to project implementation on the ground ensuring adherence to project objectives, project activities, target groups, selection criteria, expected outputs, expected outcomes & timelines articulated in the project documents.
· Support development of M&E framework for projects to ensure that outputs & outcomes are properly & timely including a robust mechanism for remote monitoring & for tracking project outcomes.
