- Operating and maintain Ampelmann L-Type V4 system on offshore vessel, transferring personnel to/from offshore structures.
- Working with high voltage equipment.
- Conduct safety briefing daily to transferees on PPE requirements, usage of Ampelmann Gangway and emergency procedures.
- Make reports on damages and abnormalities. Liaise with Technical planner, Project Manager and Technicians for any part replacement or maintenance.
- Create Job Hazards Analysis when conduction non-routine maintenance or work.
- Report and troubleshoot alongside Offshore Call Centre when any abnormalities and system related issues arises.
- Maintain/replace any mechanical and electrical parts accordance to Ampelmann's Preventative Maintenance System.
- Actively observe weather condition from forecast and surroundings. System and Vessel have safe operational limits. Report to Client for these changes, as it can make transfers difficult and unsafe.
- Planned maintenance of system to minimize downtime.
- Active replace any corrosion on system (replace bolts, nuts, washers and painting work)
- Maintain good relationship and communication with Vessel crew, clients and contractors during operations.
- Report any unsafe acts or conditions.
- Work with Vessel Captain, moving-in to position for connecting to offshore structures.
- Communicate with team mates and colleagues on System performance, operations, inventory and spares, any other issues.
- Create consumption list on systems inventory replenishment.
- Conduct Daily, Weekly and monthly maintenance and log in System DPR.
- Observe documentations and quality of Tools and equipment, for their validity and inspection time.
- Cleaning of system to avoid salt and corrosion build-up. Keeping area clear of any obstructions or potential hazards.
- Monitor for any leakage from hydraulic cylinders and any broken parts around system.
