Demonstrates strong expertise in Results-Based Management (RBM), intergovernmental engagement, and dialogue facilitation with civil society, governments, and international partners. Currently pursuing a PhD programme in Peace, Governance, and Development and author of policy papers on climate-induced conflict and gender-inclusive peacebuilding tailored to inform Somali government strategies and international assistance frameworks.
Achievements:
Ø Successfully presented regular advice to the Director of PAMG and Mission Leadership including on the Somalia/Somaliland talks and on its anticipated outcome that might define the future relations and on the maritime border dispute between Somalia and Kenya.
Ø Provide daily situation reports on key political developments in Somalia and immensely contributed to code cables and Secretary-General reports.
Ø Successfully arranged SRSG appointments with Somalia political figures including the former Presidents, and members of Parliament.
Ø Successfully provided analytical reports on the political developments and the country’s ongoing constitutional review process.
Ø Successfully monitored and reported on the maritime border dispute between Kenya and Somalia since 2016 and currently monitoring and reporting on the implementation of the 12 October International Court Justice verdict.
Ø Regularly monitor and report on the activities of the two Houses of the Federal Parliament focusing on their legislative responsibilities.

Ø Successfully managed the functional review program, including a pilot project for five key ministries in collaboration with UNDP and four other UN organizations.
Ø Successfully raised awareness of the benefits of public institutions practising and adhering to good governance principles.
Ø Tremendous Improvement in service delivery by public institutions was recorded from 2012 to 2014 and working relations between public institutions also improved during the same period.
