• Preparation of Term Contract Document
• Preparation of Schedule of Rates
• Prequalification of tenderers or contractors
• Evaluating the Tenders
• Preparation, Measurement and Valuation of work orders
• Monitor and report the updated cost
• Assist the Client to resist or pursue any claims or proceedings by or against the Contractor

Pre-Contract

• Preparing Tender Document specifically to Schedule of Rates, Preambles and Contractual clauses

Post-Contract

• Assessing Preliminary Cost Measures claimed by Contractors
• Assessing Final Cost Measures claimed by Contractors
• Undertake site evaluation/measurements of complete variation works
• Assess new rates for new items
• Attending site walkaround/visit for observation for the purpose of PAKAT

Project Implementation

Pre-Contract

• Preparing estimates
• Preparing Tender/Quotation Notice for Open or Selective Tendering
• Preparing Tender/Quotation Documents
• Analysing and preparing Tender’s/Quotation Report and recommendation

Post-Contract

• Attending to Variation Order and Extension of Time Meeting on behalf of Chief Quantity Surveyor
• Attending to Quotation Meeting on behalf of Chief Quantity Surveyor
• Committee to Quotation Meeting for other Department
• Committee to Variation Order and Extension of Time for other Department
• Committee to Integrated Documentation Production System for Department of Technical Services
• Act as a Deputy Management Representative to ISO implementation for the Department of Technical Services
• From time to time receiving ad hoc projects and other administrative works directly from the top management
